The Centennial
On December 17, 2003 we will celebrate the Centennial of Powered Flight. Let's think about this for a moment. In 100 years we have gone from the seaside dunes of Kitty Hawk, NC and the 12 seconds that changed the world -- to the International Space Station hovering somewhere in space. We've landed on the moon, we've made the world a smaller place by providing the opportunity for travel, and more importantly, Marilyn Dash learned how to fly.
First flights
John Williams, an Airline Transport Pilot with over 1,700 hours of flying time, tells the moving story of several very personal first flights.
The British Chairwoman's Challenge
Mardell Haskins has twice won the largest women's air race in the world, the Powder Puff Derby. She's flown in well over a hundred other races and has numerous Top Ten finishes. In this exciting article, she tells the story of a race against time, in her "Defense of the Realm."

Outlook 2003's calendar
In our continuing introduction to Outlook 2003, this week's column covers some interesting new Calendar features.
Celebrating flight across the years and across the magazines
This article is the introduction to our series honoring 100 years of flight. It's repeated in each of our magazines this month. Be sure to read the fifteen special articles across all our magazines for some amazingly powerful stories in honor of this special anniversary.
Customizing Outlook Today
This week, we look at two recent problems affecting users of older versions of Outlook: the inability to customize Outlook Today and the loss of the MSNBC Personal Update add-in which replaced Outlook Today with local news, weather and stock quotes.
Important Outlook 2003 updates you may need to install
Two updates were released within the last week for Outlook 2003 -- an update to the spam filter and one for SBS (Small Business Server) 2003 users that allows BCM (Business Contact Manager) to work with the SBS Exchange server account. At this time, the fix is only for SBS2003, not standalone Exchange server users, although we hope that a similar patch for Exchange will be released very soon.
OutlookPower reviews Visnetic Mail Server 6.0
OutlookPower Editor-in-Chief David Gewirtz believes he owes the folks from Deerfield.com an apology. He's been using -- relying on -- their Visnetic Mail Server now for well over six months, and he pretty much forgot all about it. This review is the story of a product that's worked so well, he forgot to write the review.
