Sperry Software's Attachment Save for Microsoft Outlook (continued)
Finally, Attachment Save's Utilities Menu allows you to manage the tools for working with emails and attachments by processing already received emails, updating the URL utility, and undoing all actions.
Conclusion In my previous article on email management, I reviewed a product by MAPILab called Attachments Processor for Microsoft Outlook. I have to say that I prefer Sperry Software's Attachment Save for Microsoft Outlook to the MAPILab product for the mere fact that it's much more user-friendly.
Installation of Sperry Software's Attachment Save took only seconds to complete. Its value was proven with the first email I received with an attachment. Attachment Save automatically extracted the attachment, left a link at the bottom of the message, replaced the attachment with a paperclip link, and the attachment was easy to locate in the pre-designated folder. What could be simpler?
At $34.95, Attachment Save is only $10.95 more expensive than Attachments Processor for a single-user license. Also, Sperry Software gives only a 14-day trial version as opposed to Mapilab's 30-day trial. Nevertheless, my preference is Attachment Save, which gets a rating of four saved attachments out of five.
